The first dwarf: Dear girl, what is your name? Tell us why you have come to our house?

Snow White: I'm the princess, the King's daughter. My name is Snow White. My mother died, and my stepmother wanted to kill me. I can't go home.

The first dwarf: Will you stay with us?

The second dwarf: Will you look after us?

The third dwarf: Will you cook?

The fourth dwarf: Will you make the beds?

The fifth dwarf: Will you wash and keep everything neat and clean?

The sixth dwarf: And we will take good care of you.

Snow White: Yes, with all my heart.

Narrator: And Snow White stayed with the seven dwarfs and kept their house tidy. Every morning the dwarfs went into the mountains. In the evening they came home. Snow White had the house neat and clean and their supper ready. As Snow White was left alone all day long, the dwarfs warned her about her stepmother.

The seventh dwarf: Dear girl, you must be careful, your stepmother can learn where you are. Do not let anybody come into the cottage.

Narrator: And meanwhile far away in the palace the Queen was talking to her Magic Mirror.
