У одного бедняка был попугай, который мог говорить только одну фразу: «В этом нет никакого сомнения». Птицу звали Пол и весь день он только и говорил: «В этом нет никакого сомнения». На всякий вопрос Пол отвечал одинаково. Однажды его хозяин пришел на рынок, чтобы продать его. «Кто купит моего попугая?” - прокричал он. Двадцать фунтов за попугая». Мужчина, услышав о высокой запрашиваемой цене, повернулся в сторону попугая и сказал: «Пол, стоишь ли ты своих 20 фунтов?» «В этом нет никакого сомнения» - ответил Пол. They say that sailors are very fond of birds and like to keep them in cages as pets. A story is told of a sailor, who when his ship was in the west indies, was so delighted with a splendid feathers of some parrots, which he saw for sale in a market, that he decided to buy one. “I'll send it home to dear old mother, he said to himself.
